TEC you are living in a fantasy world. What about Neanderthals and other early men? Do you think Adam was the first human?

    tec:

Sarah gave her maidservant Hagar to be Abraham's wife, to build a family.

Seriously? That's your justification for Abraham using Hagar as a sex slave? Because she was Sarah's property? Such is the dispicable 'morality' of the Bible.

That rivalry can be seen in their sons... Ishmael to Isaac at first... and that is why they were permitted to be sent away.

That's right. If siblings (or step-siblings) don't get along, the parents don't help them get along, they send the child and its mother into the wilderness. Do you understand that this is freaking insane??

Tec will say anything to defend to the Jesus in her head. It's sad and pathetic that she will defend slavery and child abandonment because Jesus. Seriously, if she practiced the shit she advocated, she would be in jail. Sad that we have a better moral sense than the supposedly all-loving voice she worships.

Not if one or both pose an actual threat to the other.

(You do realize that Ishmael is closer to 17/18 years old when he is sent away because of the threat Sarah saw in him toward her son, Issac, right? He is fourteen years older than Isaac, and it was not until a feast Abraham threw to celebrate Isaac being weaned (3-5 years in those times?), that Sarah demanded Ishmael be sent away. Do you also realize that according to his descendants... and through Islam... that Abraham did not abandon him? Muslims call Abraham their father, and both love and respect him as such.)

Whatever reasons God has throughout history to ignore the terrible suffering of 17,000 malnourished and dying, starving children every day, then that is the same reason he will never intervene to save them.

Therefore, God is irrelevant. A do-nothing God with no compassion or kindness is no God at all.

Example of a sick religion that is the antithesis of kindness and true religion of the heart - the Jehovah's Witnesses, who even boast of the children who have died as a result of their compassionless, cruel doctrines:

Those children are a result of the choices man has made... his action or inaction... and NOT listening to God, or Christ.

    Isaiah 59 comes to mind.

A 17 year old didn't get along with a toddler? BANISH THE 17 YEAR OLD TO THE WILDERNESS WITH HIS SLAVE MOTHER!

Because, you know, an all knowing god can't figure out how to deal with siblings that he commanded exist, even though
I can figure how to deal with my sibling children, one of whom was an accident.

Apparently I am smarter than Tec's god. Tec, you worship an incomptent moron of a douchebag monster.

Those children are a result of the choices man has made

You just tried (and failed) to defend God banishing a child that was a result of his request. Your right to call BS on religion has been suspended until Jesus (the voice of God according to you) answers up for all of the douchbagness man has done that you claim was OK.

God did not banish Ishmael. He did allow him to be sent away though. He also promised Hagar and Abraham that He would make Ishmael into a great nation... something that He HAS done. Ishmael IS a GREAT nation. He was also WITH Ishmael in the desert, and remained with the boy growing up. You also seemed to have completely left out the account that the descendents of Ishmael have given about their father Abraham.

There are times when something seems unfair that God has allowed... but that later turns out to have saved people; not condemned them. IF you knew God, through His Son, you might be able to SEE this. For example, God knew that Josephs brothers were going to sell him into slavery. But allowing that... allowed Joseph to save his ENTIRE house.

God can see much farther than we can see. Again, looking at Christ will show us the truth of His Father, and that it is us who misunderstand and misapply.

(and lol, you do not have any kind of authority to suspend me of anything)

    Peace,

    tammy
