What did they say at last years DC?

    Exactly - no one remembers.

This will come and go and in no time everyone will have forgotten all about it.

I remember driving home from a$$emb£ies and CONventions and asking the family: 'What special points did you enjoy from the sessions?'

No one could answer really. The sessions are devoid of meaning or info.

"So a third characteristic that identifies human apostates is that they reject and try to discredit Jehovah’s representatives here on earth."

Is this their way of saying, "Anyone that disagrees with Watchtower Corporation's policy to protect pedophiles and silence abuse victims is an apostate!"?

This is my first post on this site.

I was raised a JW my familly still are. I left in the mid 80's (was disfellowshipped- my choice the only way out for me). That was before the internet, talk about lonely. No worldly person could understand but I think there are some on here who would.

Any way I moved on got married had two kids both University science graduates. I remember as a young child having to sneak secular magazines home and hide them, Scientific American, was my favorite. At the age of 17 I got baptised to please my parents (so they would'nt think I was an apostate or had views contary to "the truth") My Father died recently and I could not bring myself to go to his funeral.

When I reflect back now, leaving that cult (the organization) was the best thing I ever did. To sum things up I am sorry that Rover had or even wanted to listen to that Human Apostate talk. There is nothing to be gained by listening to any mind control drivel comming out of "the organization".

I am and remain a proud apostate.

Thanks Punk for the written form of the talk.

Everything that the Governing Body says about apostates aplies to them because apostates are a shadow projection of their own evil of which they are surpressing by means of denial and projecting onto those that leave for what ever reason:

Apostasy often starts with prideful rejection of counsel and escalates into bitterness and jealousy - James 3:14.

I see the governing body doing this all the time do you?

Because apostates allow bitterness to take root in their heart, they become defiant of and false to the truth.

This one has GB written all over it, they are the ones who have bitterness and difiants toward truth, because it exposes them as liars and delusional.

Apostates profess to be followers of Jesus, but are not obedient to his commands.

I think this applies to the GB. Because I wear an apostate label according to them and I don't profess any beleifs in JC or any other mythological deities, but the GB claim to be JC followers and are not obediant to his commands especially about not judging people with a rafter in your eye.

A second characteristic that identifies human apostates is commented on at Acts 20:30 (men will rise and speak twisted things to draw away the disciples
for themselves). What is it that apostates want? Most are not content to simply leave the faith they once viewed as true. They want to take others with
them. Rather than going out and making their own disciples, many apostates seek to draw away Christ’s disciples after themselves.

Yes this is exactly what the GB are doing by proclaiming they are the F&DS appointed by Jesus and must be obeyed.

And so it goes for the rest of what the talk says about apostates, it is all a projection of the Governing Body's own evil onto those that left which come to us in the form of hate speech.
