31 things each and every Jehovah's Witness NEEDS TO KNOW right now!!

Things for Jehovah's Witnesses to think hard about.

1.You cannot change what you refuse to confront.

Look at how you are feeling most of the time. That sense of going nowhere and feeling down is not because you aren't spritual enough. It is because you are filling your life with empty purpose brought to you courtesy of the Watcthower bible and tract society!

2.Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Let go of the "fellowship" which is desperate people pretending they belong to the only true club and let a genuine life begin with honest people confronting real life.

3.Sometimes you need to distance yourself to see things clearly.

How are you going to know how phony your religion is when nobody will let you read anything other than the "official" opinions?

4.Too many people buy things they don’t need with money they don’t have to impress people they don’t know.

And the same is true of religion. You don't need false religion which takes all your time trying to make people happy who will cut you off the minute you don't impress them any more!

    5. No matter how many mistakes you make or how slow you progress, you are still way ahead of everyone who isn’t trying.

Just doing what you're told doesn't get you anywhere. Why be a cog in somebody else's idea of the True Machine? TRY to be your own person; you just might end up with a happy life of your own!

    6. Think twice before reserving a space in your heart for people who do not make an effort to stay.

Look at all the wonderful people who were cut off from the people who claimed to love them just because their religious leaders make a virtue of being a self-righteous snot!

    7. Saying someone is ugly doesn’t make you any prettier.

JW's have made a career out of pointing their finger at others and telling them how worthless they are unless and until those others AGREE with them.

    Rude isn't righteous.

    8. The only normal people you know are the ones you don’t know very well.

JW's aren't better than anybody else. They just want to look at themselves that way and in so doing snuff out the light of honesty.

9.The most painful thing is losing yourself in the process of loving someone too much, and forgetting that you are special too.

As a JW you are worthless each and every morning you wake up untill you do all your chores. When you go to bed at night you pray for

forgiveness for the worthless shit you probably were in not getting it all done perfectly!

    10. It’s better to be alone than to be in bad company.

Look at the faces in the Kingdom Hall. How's that working out for you?

    11. As we grow up, we realize it becomes less important to have more friends and more important to have real ones.

Mention a weakness or a doubt to your best JW friend and they'll rat you out to the mind police faster than they'll comfort you with understanding!

    12. The miracle is to make a single friend who will stand by your side even when hundreds are against you.

Who would stand by you in the Kingdom Hall if the elders gave you a raw deal? Hmm?

    13. Giving up doesn’t mean you’re weak, sometimes it means you are strong enough and smart enough to let go and move on.

Each minute we aren't building a happy life by being real and creating a worthwhile purpose we're burning daylight and squandering all we'll ever have!

    14. If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.

How many JW's with doubts about the organization just sit there and take it until they wake up one day and have no life left to make an escape?

    15. In life, if you don’t risk anything, you risk everything.

Why not take the risk of discovering your religion is a cult and the repeated errors of the past had nothing to do with Jehovah's secret plans?

    16. When you stop chasing the wrong things you give the right things a chance to catch you.

Beating your head against the wall of "I'm in the Truth" brings a great relief. Why expect a different outcome than the same old headache?

    17. Every single thing that has ever happened in your life is preparing you for a moment that is yet to come.

Seize the chance to cash in the dues you've paid in a nowhere life and buy yourself a handful of REALITY for a change!

18.There isn’t anything noble about being superior to another person. True nobility is in being superior to the person you once were.

JW's compare themselves to others in so-called "false religion" and immediately forget how little love, charity or common sense they live each day.

    19. Trying to be someone else is a waste of the person you are.

Want to be the perfect little witness--look around at the cracks in that wall--you are worth more than somebody else's false Utopia.

20.You will never become who you want to be if you keep blaming everyone else for who you are now.

Think your own thoughts. Dare to ask questions and refuse to settle for make-believe answers. It is entirely up to you if the suppressive atmosphere inside the Kingdom hall is your whole world!

21.People are more what they hide than what they show.

How do JW's survive being in a cult? They live a double life. The secrets they have they'll take to their grave.

22.Don’t listen to what people say, watch what they do.

How many of the most righteous JW's give to charity, volunteer in the community, visit lonely people in prison, feed the hungry? Ask yourself "why"?

23.When you have to start compromising yourself and your morals for the people around you, it’s probably time to change the people around you.

Don't send your kids to college? Don't let a doctor save your dying child? Don't vote? Don't ask skeptical questions when something just makes no sense?

    24. When you’re up, your friends know who you are. When you’re down, you know who your friends are.

Nobody has "friends" when they are a Jehovah's Witness. They have judges, quislings, fake smiles and platitudes. The best thing you'll get

when you need help is an offer of a ride out in service to knock more doors!

25.You don’t drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

So many unhappy, depressed, people are sitting on a folding chair with a pretend smile inside Kingdom Halls around the planet wondering

    what THEY are doing wrong.....

    26. It’s better to know and be disappointed than to never know and always wonder.

That is why you are on the Internet reading about what just "may" be wrong with the TRUTH. We call it "the Truth about the Truth."

27.There are things that we don’t want to happen but have to accept, things we don’t want to know but have to learn, and people we can’t live without but have to let go.

Face that as a fact and you break the bonds of slavery to a cult which wields self-righteousness as a weapon and ignorance of reality as a truth.

    28. If you tell the truth, it becomes a part of your past. If you lie, it becomes a part of your future.

Speak what is in your heart, doubts and all, and watch the faces of your fellow "brothers and sisters" for signs of love instead of horror. Good luck.

29.You can’t start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading your last one.

How is your life ever going to improve when today and tomorrow are the same script as yesterday and the day before?

30.Things turn out best for people who make the best out of the way things turn out.

Has it turned out that being a JW is not what you thought it was going to be? Welcome to the real world. Now--ACT on that awareness!!

31.If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it.

Making excuses for delusional people who seek to control you and deny the validity of your thoughts is nothing short of slow motion suicide.

FOR LIFE'S SAKE snap out of it---try looking at it from a fresh perspective. Something has been going on for a hundred years inside Jehovah's Witnesses and it has nothing to do with THE TRUTH.

    Terry:

Excellent points! Too bad that not many JWs will act on them.

Point No. 2 - letting go of fellowship of people who were never genuine friends. Too many JWs imagine they are surrounded by a loving brotherhood of friends. With friends like that, who needed enemies?

Your last point No. 31 about "Making excuses for delusional people who seek to control you and deny the validity of your thoughts is nothing short of slow motion suicide." is very current for me because of my pointing out to a soon to be ex-friend flaws in the religion and attitudes I would not tolerate.

While she herself isn't seeking to "control me", she wants me to be under the control she is under. She played the old "imperfection" card the Witnesses keep using. She views the org. as the "ark" you need to stay aboard. I am disapproved because I jumped off and am rowing my own canoe.

Would she take the same view of a physician treating her child?

We submit to the abilities of others to produce results not the inability to produce results.

The only scriptural reason for the existence of the GB ever given is that they are anointed to provided food at the proper time.

The faithful slave is CONTRASTED with the evil slave.

The difference between the two slaves is marked by competence in making provision AT THE PROPER TIME.

How is falsely predicted emergency Armageddon warnings and wrong dates a "PROPER TIME" demonstration?

Flawed human beings getting it wrong is not a PROPER BASIS for confidence!

Why have a mind if you click it "off"?
