Solving lingering problems of inequality is a little more complex than we've imagined in the past though, because as others have observed, equal is not identical.
In that respect, I have a great deal of admiration for Sheryl Sandberg. Although she's obviously very sympathetic to the cause of equality, she echoes what sociologists have been saying for about a decade now.
