Hasn't the Watchtower called old understandings 'present truth' in the past when they change some teaching because of new light?
That is, it was truth as the GB knew it so it was 'present truth' even though wrong.

It sure is, Irondork. I will. Oh, I really am. Keeping a low profile means controlling what I say and to whom, nevertheless, I do do some occasional sparring with a friend who is "waking" but still hangs on to the org mainly because all his friends are there. Well, it's funny to see that sometimes he can't win because he comes out with some WT indocrination crap which doesn't hold water when scrutinized and just drops the whole things.
WT crap doesn't stand up to close scrutiny. LOL
