    Unstop the math is really quite simple

    In special relativity total mass-energy of a particle is given by the equation:

    m = \frac{m_0}{\sqrt{1-\frac{v^2}{c^2}}}

    where m 0 is the particle's rest mass, v is the particle's velocity, and c is the speed of light.

    The rest mass of this particle will be 1 (as it is a proton)

    kinetic energy is 3×10 20 eV,

    and that V 0.9999999999999999999999951c

    It is travelling at 1.5 femtometers (quadrillionths of a meter) per second less than the speed of light, So taking 3×10 8 metres per second as the speed of light, we find that the particle was traveling 2.999999999999999999999985×10 8 metres per second

    Just think about it this way. A single sub-atomic particle, probably a proton, hit something with the same force as a baseball moving at 100 km/h.

    And it hurt like a bitch, too. Fucking sub-atomic particle.
