I recently read an article about the amount of sugar we collectively eat vs what someone back in the 1800's ate. It's massively large. Because of that article I've decided my family is going on a dessert reduction. Instead of dessert every night after dinner I've restricted it to one night a week. Most of my family has agreed to it, the only person having a problem with it is my youngest. The one concession I'm making is if they really want something sweet after dinner they can grab some fruit.
