    Thank you.

Clearly each religion awaits a Reformer who comes at the End Times to purify the world of injustice and oppression, and it has been prophesized by many Prophets and can be found in the Bible. So there has to be someone whom not only Christians await, but also Jews and Muslims. So how do we come to know who this person is? There must be a criteria to identify this character. There must also be signs for people to know who this person is, so when he does come there would be complete proof proving his authenticity, rather than just being someone who claims something with out proof.

Now, could you provide verses from the Bible which point to this figure to come other than what I posted.

Isaiah 63:1 Who is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah, with his garments stained crimson? Who is this, robed in splendor, striding forward in the greatness of his strength? "It is I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save.

Lets us see what it says:

    Role of the Spirit

16 I will ask the Father, and He will give you another (X) Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17 that is (Y) the Spirit of truth, (Z) whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

Here Jesus states that the helper is the Spirit of Truth AND that He ABIDES in them.

25 “These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. 26 But the (AR) Helper, the Holy Spirit, (AS) whom the Father will send in My name, (AT) He will teach you all things, and (AU) bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Once more the identity is stated, The Holy Spirit.

    15:

26 “When the (AL) Helper comes, (AM) whom I will send to you from the Father, that is (AN) the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, (AO) He will testify about Me, 27 and (AP) you will testify also, because you have been with Me (AQ) from the beginning.

Now Jesus makes a statment on WHO ( the spirit of truth) and How (Prodeeding from the Father) and WHAT ( To TESTIFY about JESUS).

    16:

    The Holy Spirit Promised

5 “But now (I) I am going to Him who sent Me; and none of you asks Me, ‘ (J) Where are You going?’ 6 But because I have said these things to you, (K) sorrow has filled your heart. 7 But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the (L) Helper will not come to you; but if I go, (M) I will send Him to you. 8 And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; 9 concerning sin, (N) because they do not believe in Me; 10 and concerning (O) righteousness, because (P) I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; 11 (Q) and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

12 “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 But when He, (R) the Spirit of truth, comes, He will (S) guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14 He will (T) glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. 15 (U) All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.

Here is the thing, the Helper ( The HS) is promiosed to THEM, the apostles, THEY will receive this helper in their lifetimes, which, according to ACTS, they do.

Not much of a gray area on WHO He is, From WHERE He comes, to WHO he is given, WHEN and WHY.

This is what I was referring to, how will we all know? Will the second coming of Jesus just happen of a sudden? There has to be a Law of God to know how to determine this. Or will Jesus just appear to all with a divine miracle, leaving no room for belief in the unseen, which in itself is faith. You said all people will know, and only few will believe.

For example, when Jesus was sent to the Jews, Jesus had been mentioned previously with proof and evidence for the Jews to know him. Keep in mind that Jesus was sent to the Jews of the time only. Jesus only completed the proof upon them by sharing knowledge, miracles, and divine signs to them. But what was the result of that? Only few believed.

According to both ACTS and Revelations, Jesus's second coming will be quite visible.
