Thanks EoM. I do not expect you to agree with everything (or anything) I say, certainly not simply because I say it. In fact I urge you to NOT take my word, but to test everything against the one who IS the Truth: Christ.

(I did not need to tell you this; you are already doing it, and you already know it. Just wanted to make sure you know that i totally understand and encourage that.)

The thing on creation was a good one for me too... things just 'clicked' after I recieved that understanding.

I have to look again but the part about armageddon...........the WT has it all mixed up. But the event of one side attacking the true side. In revelation it speaks of endurance of the holy ones, if you are to be captured you will be captured, and something bout if you grab a sword or kill with a sword you will be killed with a sword. It is clear to not fight.

In the old testament, there are many details about the attack on babylon the great being destroyed, etc, and gog and magog. I think some of hte scriptures I had read implied that men would go out to fight thinking God wants them to, but that it's a trick, and those who did so would also die.

I'll actually check them all when I can. But things such as that can be tested against all the scriptures. Anyway who is still used to having other humans explain everything to them, who haven't learned yet how to get understanding, it would be dangerous, those who are learning how to get real instruction and be lead by the spirit together would be able to know. These are things that haven't been done since the early chrisitian times or if they have only tiny groups that are not known about. Look in the scriptures, you'll see none of the major religions are learning and doing things as the early christians had so ofcoarse they will all be wrong.

Yes, someone would convince them that it is what they should do, yes... so that they are decieved. Though we tend to be deceived, when the promise is something that we want for ourselves.

Tec - yup, it's important to say that, especially for those who may start trusting, anybody who gets understanding. It's not intended to be 100% reliant on them.

If I find Tec's things to be in harmony w/ the scriptures, I will NEVER 100% trust her, if it's 100% right everytime, anytime she understands something new I will still not just automatically accept it. If it's right, and you yourself are being guided by the holy spirit, you'll find it in harmony with everything and the spirit will verify it's right for you as well. Or it could be that it's something but discussing with a few others, then them all combined, knowledge each of them had, when shared with all, then combined and all of them having the holy spirit, get the proper understanding.

This is why the early christians when they got together, and their gifts, they all shared and discussed and never took anything or just accepted it.

And even though everbody can learn on their own, there is only so much you can learn at a time, and sometimes the combining of things will hasten or clarify a lot.

Tec doesn't even think her things are in harmony with the scriptures. She often points out that she only accepts some of them, and dismisses (or second guesses maybe? Kind of like trying to figure out what really happened from a 3rd person account. Dismiss may be the wrong word, and I know she might take issue with it and dismiss my thought if I choose the wrong word---so I'm covering all bases) any that don't support what she has come to know as her Christ. She has told us that when the 'lying scribes' were addressed, that was proof that there are wrong things in the scriptures---things put in or misrepresented by 'lying scribes'.

Interesting to watch this play out.

I do not believe everything in the scriptures as written is true either. (look how the JW bible had purposely changed things) I can't explain it, because I am using the scriptures as well to find the truth. It's like the spirit of truth is helping reveal it all. She told me she doesn't really read them. If that's true and she's unaware and I'm reading all of them and understanding many, and they match up, it would be very interesting. Her claims are not impossible. Everybody says no more prophecy and inspiration, that is not true, the quote from Revelation which is only speaking about adding a word to that scroll alone. But in the scriptures, I do not find any support that anybody with understanding and learning things would be 'SOURCES' for it. Because if you yourself are not already starting to or on your way, if you are relying on a human, then you will never know if you are being lied to or decieved. The true congregation EVERYBODY got it and the sharing with eachother would only help further build up or clarify. That part I just can't stress enough. Because I know there are tons of lurkers.

anyway the gifts of the spirit......look them up, there is no reason for that to have stopped, not until Christ's return. Unless I'm missing a scripture. But since all religions have rejected it and been taking their instructions from men, who would not get it by forbidding others to go for it, ofcoarse it would appear that all of those ceased.

If people are going back to the truth and true way it was intended, unless I see something different I haven't seen yet or know, and if this is also the truth, then would start seeing those gifts again.

But some scriptures also say and warn in Revelation that satan and his people will be doing great amazing things. So that's another reason, can't trust it and need to try to get the spirit of truth to help you know and identify the truth from the lie.

I think it just got less interesting. Perhaps she doesn't read them now, but she quotes them all the time, so she did indeed read a great many of them. Therefore it's not interesting if understandings are matching up, and they have their root in the Bible. She is aware. I've had many discussions on scriptures with her.
