    Well, we could say:

    Peter,

    Linus,

    Cletus,

    Clement,

    is a pretty good start.

Agreed, Jesus said so much that it needed to be regurgitated 3-4 times and yet they managed to record all the important thoughts of Peter, Paul and others in ways that surprising-didn't sound like they even KNEW the man Jesus, certainly were not taking their cues from him!

I see this complaint a lot, mP, and it is always offered up as if the discovery of three synoptic gospels is some sort of amazing discovery. When they were selected, everybody knew they were told from a very similar point of view, but with a slightly different emphasis for the different audience intended. The simple fact is that the synoptics are all included in the canon simply because the Church found they were all important in order to convey the message more completely. Not clear why that is supposed to be some sort of joke.
