is it normal for a father, to walk hand in hand in public with his adult daughter?

    Some families are just very affectionate that way. I don't take sexual abuse lightly, it is an issue that needs our full attention and outrage. But sometimes I think, that we have injected fear of normal physical affection into families that goes above and beyond necessary. I understand how it happened, but there are fathers that are timid about any physical contact with their daughters for fear of being viewed as a pedophile. I've talked with some. We are just always looking for perversion it seems.

    NOW---if they start french kissing----I have a problem. But walking in public, holding hands, actually tells me that things are probably fine. They have nothing to hide. Without more details (which could change my entire opinion) I don't see a problem.
