Ding, the reasoning book answers all your questions so gracefully, I could cry. A cult is a religion that is said to be unorthodox or that emphasizes devotion according to prescribed ritual. Many cults follow a living human leader, and often their adherents live in groups apart from the rest of society. The standard for what is orthodox, however, should be God's Word, and Jehovah's Witnesses strictly adhere to the Bible. Their worship is a way of life, not a ritual devotion. They neither follow a human nor isolate themselves from the rest of society. They live and work in the midst of other people.

Build your house on the rock mass, not on the sand if you are naming the Son of Man. Please.

Research Psalm 68:11 on Biblos please. Click the tab for Hebrew. Find the word host. Click on the transliteration "saba". It will show you all the other places the the same word is used. Can you come back and tell us what you have found?

Just because other bibles say the same thing does not mean it's right. Hell, they're Babylon the Great drunk with the blood of the holy ones. Whywould you trust them?

The Bible is quite despensable. Only the leadership can understand it and only the leadership has the right/mandate to interpret it and to add to it as well. (e.g. 1914, 1918, 1919, "Jehovah", "other" or change the meaning of words, e.g. "generation", "Jerusalem".)

The Bible is not the authority for Jehovah's Witnesses. The proof of that is obvious: the Bible cannot change any opinion of any Witness contrary to what the WT teaches. Only the organization's leadership can change the opinion/beliefs of Witnesses. How can the Bible be at all important?

Only independent thinking could change that scenario. No wonder that is considered such a sin. JWs do not have a Bible-trained conscience; they have a WT-trained conscience. If their doctrine or conscience was only Bible-trained, they would be in darkness within 2 or 3 years.

    You are so blind.

You follow every word of a bunch of old men in New York and avoid mixing with the "world" as far as you possibly can.

Apparently the WT may be in a crowd of others who also got it wrong.

NOW you want to get into Biblical Hebrew since your argument about the JW's changing the Bible to fit their beliefs for their convenience failed desperately . I posted the other translations to show that it is not just the Witnesses who translate certain verses a certain way, especially Psalm 68:11. You also need to realize there is no "one transcript" for Psalm 68:11, there a slight variations within the various ones that have been uncovered, hence the different translations by NUMEROUS translators. I didn't think it was rocket science...but uhhh... there ya go.
