I got on quite well with Gordon but your experience must have been different. When I was having doubts I had a long chat with Gordon and he was cool about it.

That’s what probably did it then.
He was often on the assembly parts at Musselburgh etc.
Just not my cup of tea. Not many of those sorts were.
