I guess by speaking openly about my honest objections to the religion, I'm an apostate.
Mind you, keeping all my objections welled up inside for years & trying to live the life of a faithful witness nearly drove me to suicide.
So, I'll go with the apostate tag. I'll also keep on speaking about beliefs & practices of the religion which are clearly wrong & damaging to people - disfellowshipping, shunning, the blood issue, thought control, etc, etc.
Good thread. The WT society is scared spitless that their hidden skeletons will come tumbling out of the closet if they allow JW's to watch anything on the Internet or television which exposes their teachings as faulty. Thus the need for hardcore paranoia in demonizing the media outlets
Thanks everyone. Does anybody have any family who are going to this week's watchtower? If so, are you worried about what the reaction will be?
Most of my family will no doubt be in attendance, but at least Mrs Cedars has been forewarned.
