Election year is approaching. Are we ready for the political campaigns?

For those who vote, does it really matter whether we vote Democrat or Republican?

Corruption is so rampant... should we engage in politics and still be Christian? What is your take?

I don't think there is that much difference between parties. Clinton and Obama have proven my point.

100% of Republicans in Congress are on a fast track to sell out this country. 60% of Dems are on a slower track. Otherwise, no big difference.

Probably not. My dad always said that we have the best politicians money can buy.

I've been calling them republicrats for awhile.

Bizzy Bee, I don't think the split on selling out the country is based on speed or percentages. The only difference is who is on the list of buyers.

Hmmmmm, ok. But the Republicans do seem to be somewhat organized in their primary objective - destroy the POTUS, even if it takes down the country. How patriotic.

    BB,

You are so funny, you are not even funny.

    You said:

: 100% of Republicans in Congress are on a fast track to sell out this country. 60% of Dems are on a slower track. Otherwise, no big difference.

Zero facts, zero explanations and a stupid conclusion. You are a fool. No, you are such big fool that there is no words to describe you, fool.

    Your argument is this:

100% of Republicans, namely ALL Republicans are out to sell out this country. Gee, that makes PERFECT sense! They "sell out" (whatever THAT means) this Country. Fine and dandy. They just sold out this "Country" (whatever THAT means) and soon we will no longer have a Country because they just "sold" it "out." Someone else bought it. What do 100% of the Republicans do now, since someone else just owns their Country and that means they own them, too? Are they now on the payrolls of whomever is about to "buy" this Country?

Democrats (being the nice guys that they are) and only 60% of them, mind you, are "slower" to sell out this Country. You simply must be nice to them, because only 60% of them will do it, but they will do it "slowly." So that is a good thing, I guess.

What Bizzy is saying wihout really saying it, is that both parties are destroying this Country, but her party is not as good as doing it as the party she doesn't like.

There is some truth in what she says.

However, comma, and this is a big however, dim bulbs like Bizzy Bee are too intractable to understand that the problems facing this Country are not as simple as her mind happens to be and people are not as stupid as she is. At least some people are not that stupid, because she is really stupid.

Inflation is the biggest hidden tax there is. The Fed ("Federal Reserve): there is NO "reserve" in the Federal Reserve. No real money. Only ink and paper and is worthless) causes it. The Fed is independent of Congress. The Fed controls the money supply. The money (funny money, fake money supported by NOTHING but confidence in the Government which NO average citizen trusts)

I am a man of 63 years of life. When I was 17 and still in High School, knew nothng really, and I got a job that paid $2.32 an hour and I was able to get my own place and two weeks of groceries cost me $22.00. Since my semi-retirement, I have been paid $10.00 per hour running a lawnmower and doing other handyman jobs, many of whice require skills with tooks, which I cannot do now because of my disability. Accounting for inflation, my $10.00 per hour wage is equal in spending power with $1.27 an hour when I was actually making almost DOUBLE that in 1966, when I was 17 and 1/10th as stupid as I now am.

THAT is the hidden tax: inflation. That is in addition to all the theft our Governments steal from us. Our Governments only give us grief, deprive us of our treasure and make our lives miserable. But most importantly, they steal our Liberties, and our Liberties are the reason our Founding Fathers fought to us. They are paper-pushers, self-serving, self-aggradizing and only exist to perpetuate their jobs. Thry produce nothing, not jobs, and only look out for their own self-preservation. They only pander for themselves and will sell their souls to the highest bidder.

This is true in history for every Government that was allowed to expand beyond their legitimate boundaries as established by law.

This travestry crosses all political boundries. All political parties are guilty. It is up to the people who are supposed to make Government work for THEM and not AGAINST them to stop this travesty and put them in their rightful place. THEY work for US. WE don't work for THEM. They must answer to US for the decisions. We do not have to answer to THEM to justify our decisions.

Throw ALL the incumbants out. ALL of them. Get a new batch of future-thieves in there and then throw THEM out as soon as they become thieves. Otherwise, revolt. Thomas Jeferrson said we should do that every 50 or 75 years. I love Thomas Jefferson. He wrote our Declraration of Independence. People don't get better than that.

I'm not afraid a good, old-fashioned shooting revolution to restore my liberties to what the Founding Fathers fought for. I'd prefer a peaceful way to make that happen, though.

I prefer Liberty over death, but I will take death without Liberty, because without Liberty, death is better. I would cry to see my 4 children and 8 grandchildren live in a Socialist's dream like Obama offers.

I cannot argue with logic like that. I don't even make eye-contact with it.

    BB,

: I cannot argue with logic like that. I don't even make eye-contact with it.

That makes no sense to me.

BTW, I was editing it and adding to it as you were posting. Perhaps my additions might want you to make even less eye contact with it.

But, then again, I am always the optimist.
