For me, it's warmth and compassion, being approachable, and not looking down on anyone.

Also, taking the time to acknowledge and interact with newbies.

I LOVE those type of posters.

I like them concise to the point of bluntness, along with a clever sense of humor.

I also like posters who are informative without being condescending.

There's a place for the touchy-feely types but honestly, I don't get into reading those sorts of threads.

In Palmtree's case I can think of a two reasons why......but........

Seriously though, for all the reasons you mentioned Syl. Also I'm drawn to the thoughts of independent thinkers, especially those who push the envelope when it comes to thought. Posters like Terry and Onthewayout. I'd hate to be in field service and knock on Terry's door. I'd write a note on the back of that territory card entailing his address, appearance and in big bold letters, DO NOT CALL. I'm also drawn to the moderate posters who are capable of being passionate about subjects, but maintain a reserved demeanor, such as Undercover and James Woods.

    Nice one Donny.

I personally like posters that I don't have to stare at for 30 minutes until some stupid shape comes out. I hate those things.

Syl's right. I like posters who take the time to acknowledge you.
