God did not explain it to us. Saying From Dust is simple way of explaining it without giving us details we cannot understand. Just exactly how these compounds were put together, we do not know, or how long it took for that matter.

What you are doing is a straw man - you address an argument that the OP didn't present (evolution does not deal with the origin of life) and then easily knock it down based on the very premise the OP intentionally avoided.

I posted a question earlier in the thread: Were deadly viruses and bacteria created also? If so, why?

I guess, we don't know and God wouldn't bother explaining to us either...Funny thing, some scientist/"evolutionist"/microbiologist found a way to knock them out and save a few hundred million people from agonizing untimely death along the way.

I put my money and my trust on the side of the argument claiming the nasty little buggers evolved...How about you?

I'm sorry, can I get a show of hands of those who are demonstrating Poe's Law in this thread?? It really is hard to differentiate the mockers from creationists who poop on evolutionary theory without having researched it.

Specifically, I'm wondering about Miz. (I know Nomad and Unshackled are BS'ing.) I don't recall seeing him (you) in the evolution vs creation debates.

It's similar to whats happening with venereal diseases which are a result of improper lust that humans alieninated from God are experiencing. They're recieving their full recompense. (Rom 1:26, 27) Things would be so much simpler for mankind if they would just behave like children and display the proper humility that befits them. If only we'd all recognize that we're incapable of knowing or accomplishing anything without supernatural assistance, than our peace would be like that of a river.

I tend to assume that everyone who poops on evolution is a troll these days. I just find it hard to accept that anyone in 2011 can be insane enough not to accept it as fact. So my attitude is that everyone accepts evolution & those who appear not to are simply parodying the creationists who used to exist back in the bad old days.

The preconcieved bias is just too strong . . . to the point of self-inflicted intellectual blindness.

Personally, I have no conflict between evolution and the existence of God . . . with an allowance made for the "unknown" on both sides of the fence no conflict exists. What I have concluded is that the book of Genesis is not literal in either it's chronology or it's science . . . but is still allegorical rather than misleading or a lie . . . a critical difference.

We believe what we will . . . it's best, however, to make it in harmony with the known facts as much as possible . . . makes it easier to defend and thereby justify to ourselves also.
