Hmm, yes - very true. Now open though and by the length of it should keep me entertained until Berwick. Perhaps that could have been phrased slightly better. See by the first line though that you were an elder so even more hope for my brother. I am out and around the country a lot. I know we have only just met but perhaps we can meet up some time - could do with chewing the cud with someone every now and again and unfortunately as the whole religion is just too weird for anyone not in it to really understand. My kids fortunately have never been exposed to this rubbish. My lads' grandma gave him a bible at christmas (mostly to annoy me) and he said "why have you given me this grandma? I don't believe in god". At 5. Bless. And I never really talk about religion at all so not sure where he picked that up from but goes to show how quickly children start mirroring your own beliefs even if you are not trying to indoctinate them.

Hi Nelly - Doncaster is North of the M25 so being from the South that is all part of the wasteland upon which you should not tread. I was actually with a taxi driver in East Grinstead today who must have been 50 and said he had never been further North than the Humber Bridge - and that was only once. Mind, if he had gone over the bridge he would only have got to Hull so maybe it was best he went no further. Just had visions of him bravely venturing further North with his wife saying "do you think we should turn back now? The people here all seem to have arms that hang down to their knees". That's lincolnshire for you. Where every man is also his son's uncle.

m25 {{{{{{{{{shudder}}}}}}}}} i've managed to end up at the tunnel barriers twice when i've been coming home from the north side and missed the bridge. (barriers down and blues and twos escort both times)but at least i got off paying the toll.

last trip i made that end was round trip to catterick via cambridge for a funeral, took me two days to lose the hallucinations.

hull, my daughter moved there and theyve already assimilated her into a walking foreign accent.

littlest has just gone up for a fortnight, she'll have caught it too by the time she comes home.

    Hi and welcome James.

lovely to see more UK'ers here.

Sorry but we are down in the south so cant help with your initial query. In fact any further south and we would get wet!!!

Yes there is hope for your brother - there are lots of elders and x elders on here. Other half was an elder when we exited and we are all out now.
