Since Leaving "The Truth" Are You Really Happier?

I'm going through a rough patch, possible layoff in the near future, but I'm much more at peace - yes, happier - than when I was with the JW's.

The constant do-more mantra, the idolizing of the "slave," and the judgmental attitudes of some combined to drive me over the edge.

I'm glad I walked away from that sham of a Christian organization.

    exponentially happier....

even tho i "lost" the hope
of seeing my dead brother and
son in the "noo system", i
    now totally embrace my reality
and just live with the fact that
this is it and i best be fully
invested in the here and now....

    incredibly happy

I think so. I am also way more relaxed. Haven't been involved in any debauchery yet- soon, I hope!

Yes, less stress, less anxiety, more time to spend as a family being a family. Less reasons to discipline the children and greater appreciation for non JWs. Yes much happier.
