I read that this was a 7.2 and I also saw that 7.9 was the strongest that California ever had..getting kinda close there!!!

Sounds like a good shaker...nothing I haven't felt before...was in San Francisco for the '89 Loma Prieta quake (6.9) and in Madera during the '83 Coalinga quake, that was a 6.5 (Madera is about 30+ miles northeast of Coalinga) and many other little quakes after. Hell I even felt a small trembler in Indiana.

I felt it here in San Diego. We were driving and I noticed the windows in an apartment shaking and the the power lines swinging. We pulled over and felt the rattling for about 15 seconds. But it doesn't seem like there is any damage.
