Cameo-d ....wow what a lucky girl you are!

It's always nice to hear when someone you know has actually "won" a prize, or prizes in your case! Good for you, may your luck continue!

Tec....glad I gave you a good laugh...I had the last laugh...neither son was into sports despite all the pressure from coaches, I look at them like Catholic priests looking for choir boys.

Poopsiecakes...Wow...hope you had fun spending it!

Zeroday...same thing...hope you had fun with that money!

Snowbird, so did you keep the Turkey or not?

I won 24.50 2 days ago in the florida fantasy five, for 3 out of 5. I win 3 out of 5 every 2 weeks.

I won about 60$ twice in the Florida lottery for 4 out of 6.

I won a nice Gold watch in a raffle at work once.

I remember in first grade I won first place in an art contest for drawing an elephant next to a tree. I can still remember how I felt when I saw that big ribbon on my picture! And I can still draw the picture to a T. More recently in life, I won 1000$ by hitting a Royal Flush at the casino, that was fun!

Funny, I was telling this story to my husband the other day. When I was about 8, I opened a HubbaBubba gum package and one of the wrappers said all over it "YOU WON." So I read all the contest information. I had won either a He-Man action figure or a She-ra action figure. Well as a JW child I was not allowed to watch such violent cartoons. So I sat down on my own and wrote a letter to the HubbaBubba company explaining to them that I had won, I sent back in the wrapper, like it had said, But I explained that I am not allowed to play with these toys, so if they could exhanged them for something else less violent.

I never heard back from them. I think I am going to have to ask my mom if she remembers what happened. Maybe they called, or did send something.

I won $40 playing an ESPN fantasy playoff game a couple months ago. Of course I lost $20 today because stupid Kentucky lost their stupid game. Stupid!

I placed 3rd (If not a win, then a podium) in the 5th grade in Science at a countywide scholastic meet. Craps, where's my medal?

I bought a bottle of snapple once, and under the cap it said that "you win a remote control caddie". I called the phone number on the cap to ask them what is was that I won. They told me that they could not talk about it over the phone and that I had to send the cap in with certified mail, and wait and they would send me my prize. So I spend about $20 to send in the cap overnight shipping. A couple of weeks later I received a package in the mail from snapple. I was so excited, after opening it I figured out what a Remote control caddie was. It was a plastic thing that you put on your coffee table and you can put your remote controls for your tv, dvd, radio. It ended up in the garbage, I think that snapple did it as a joke.

FYI: The one in the photo is not the actual one that I received, the picture shows the deluxe model.

Oh I forgot....should have mentioned it in my earlier post. I did actually win a State level contest my Senior Year in school. My parents were really proud and I got a lot of praise from teachers and friends. I was surprised my senior year, because my parents had loosened the reins a little. I was allowed to go to the state competition a few hours away and stayed the night with a fellow student and a my teacher. I think they were so proud that I made it to state level.
