I found this picture on facebook.
But I wanted to ask everyone a question. How many people here remember a moment in their young adult life at the conventions like this?

How long until this group of young adults see the truth?
My guess is within 5 years.

Lets hope so. Poor kids. I bet half of them were baptized before the age of 14. That is the saddest part of all, that irrevocable vow and committment taken from a child before he or she understands what it means.
Unfortunately It took me a lot longer than 5 years from that age. I have quite a few photos like that, I even have Hank Marvin in one somewhere.
They'll go on their growth journey like most young adults, breaking from ideas and the culture of their parents and community and eventually finding something that fits.
The old International Assemblies, 60s early 70s, actually were a blast with the bid circus tents and kitchens, 1000s of young people. By itself they were a lot of fun, it was all the pressure to not pursue college at that young age that I regret. Well life is second chances and third's and forth's, everyday we have the opportunity to make something special and good.
Don't kid yourself, some of them have already tried pot. Some have already crossed the line of what the organization calls "loose conduct" and others are watching porn on the internet. Give 'em time and they'll all be consumed with guilt and either walk or run in deeper till they are middle aged and stuck in a loveless, sexless marriage. Laud our God! W.Once
