    Scholar,

Is there a reason you refer to yourself in the 3rd person?

Its a tad disconcerning at times.

You mentioned the 70 years chronology, but that 70 years is subject to interpretation, is it not?

The WT claims 70 years of desolation, while even the Hebrew scholars claim 70 years of servitude/being ruled by the Babylonias for the neighbouring nations.

The WT accepts the end of the Babylonian reign VIA a date tablet that, correct? the bibel does not mention any dates and as such, secualt evidence must be used to arrive at a specific date, yes?

Exactly Scholar! the Bible. And understanding it, reading it in context. 70 years babylon was to rule. they did. It began in 609BCE, it ended upon their 539 defeat by the Medes/Persians.

    Bingo.

Perhaps he got bored or tired but one thing Alan F had and that was a lack of self-control which according to James shows that he lacked wisdom in connection with an accurate knowledge of Jesus Christ.-James 1:5-8.

You then must decide where your loyalty lies is it with the believers or the unbelievers such as Alan F and his devotees.

The Bible does not support the fanciful interpretation that the seventy years was only of Babylonian dominion from 609 BCE to 539 BCE for the simple reason that nothing of importance happened in 609 BCE.

    609 BC:

609 BC—The Babylonians defeat the Assyrian army of Ashur-uballit II and capture Harran. Ashur-uballit, the last Assyrian king, disappears from history.
