There's 4 fingers at the bottom of the picture about three inches from the right side, near the stream coming out of the barrel. Somebody hanging on?

Is that a second ear or an attempt to show a strip of the cloth going around the neck and the printing ink did not keep as segregated as the artist would have liked.
-Poor color choice (little or no contrast in the inks)
-Printing artifact when using multiple colors.
