That's because you don't study, you need to think through your ideas and see how ridiculous they are with the moral and ethical castigations they place on the Supreme Being..

No nightmares here, but as a counselor I hear many stories of Fundamentalist and Pentecostal children with nightmares. Superstitions are like that, hopefully others will see it and avoid the trap..

    *Do good every day.

No, the reason you can't offer any proof Jesus ever taught such a thing as "kingdom within" is because there is none.

Here is some proof of what He taught about hell.

    Mat 25:31

"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. 32Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. 34Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.' 37Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?' 40And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.' 41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

designs, you are still ignoring Mine & Stephen's question. I am going to assume from here on out that you have made up your own religion. You can not save yourself, you need Jesus.

I am confident that Deputy Dog, Stephen, Mouthy and I all worship and love the same Jesus. Multiple Jesus' only exist in your mind.

The Talmud is not an inspired work. You will get no truth from that. It was written by imperfect men who refused to look to Jesus for their salvation and tried to put their own spin on God's word. No different than the Watchtower

A Jesus who tortures. That's why this literal misunderstanding is such an albatross.

This is also why it is important to understand and read the Faith of Jesus the Jew in order to avoid these missteps from the Dark Ages.

Sorry to say, Saoirse, you went from one cult mindset into another, but its a good object lesson for others.

Mouthy, do you see how different your concept of Jesus is from DD and Saoirse who believe he burns people in Hell. So the original question- which Jesus is allowed at the conference, both, they aren't the same not by a long shot.

From one cult mindset into another is not progress. No thanks, I work helping people who have suffered in those Fundamentalist cults.

A counselor who doesn't believe in justice, is no counselor at all. It's a troll.

We are all waiting for your words of wisdom oh great sage. Show us what Jesus taught. When are you gonna put up or shut up? We can all see what kind of "counselor" you are.

You are turning into the thing you hate the most.

    DD, Mouthy et al

Two very diametrically different views of Jesus, one who torutures and one who doesn't. Even the Church of Rome has dialed down their doctrine on this idea because they finally came to grips with the huge ethical problem it presented.

'Love me or I will torture you for all eternity'.

Like all bad ideas and bad religions it is fading into the sunset but held onto by those who need a vengeful type of God.

DD, once you have studied Jewish literary styles from the period of Jesus and the use of personification, hyperbole, metaphor and symbolisim then begin to reread the Gospels, it will seem like a fresh walk in the park.
