question to the forum-what do you think is lacking in a jws dedication to jesus?in other words why is a jw not really a follower of christ?

It is about 15 miles from my house.. You lucky person.
This convention was the happiest times of my life.I attended for 22years
I love all the folks that go there ,Neomadman. I think you will do well
at the communion.I love you my darling, Also Deputy Dog. Sorry I
wont see you again.Your one of my adopted, I flew down twice,
that was harder than driving down, I had to get to Toronto( 2 hours)
then board the plan ,It only went to Pittsburg, then had to wait another
hour for the VERY SMALL three seater plane to take me to Allantown,
then I had to be picked up at Allantown ...Cant do that any more .
I just am too old now to travel 10 hours in the car,My RA wont allow it..
But Katie & Mark are sending me all the cds,( John really in the tape office)
PLEASE tell ALL I am at home pining for you all. If I kick the bucket I will
be there in spirit I promise.

Many people follow Christ but are not Christians.Jesus is recognized all over the world as a person to emulate. I’ve met many people who are not Bible believers who say they “follow Christ” as an example of a good person to be like.

Individual JW’s , I can’t speak for but while I was one, there were many studies on identifying the “True” religion. I did not come across an explanation of these verses in the literature.There is no chapter in a study book devoted to these as a way to identify yourself as a Christian.At that time I could not have understood what they meant.Since then I have come to know Jesus, and am now able to answer yes to these verses:

2 Corinthians 13:5

John 14:17-18

Colossians 1 :27

Galatians 4:6

Romans 8: 9-10

Galatians 2:20

They are written out on the Witnesses Now For Jesus Convention Brochure.Back page asks the question, Jehovah’s Witnesses are you in the faith?

What is lacking is simple faith in the work Jesus did for God's children, and the Sabbath-rest that comes with it.

Heb 4:9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his.

God has a son & he is God,I understand Angles dont procreate

Well Jehovahs Sheep !!!!.Yes since to be a Christian,we have to be a follower of Christ ,GODS SON!!!
& since you believe Jesus is Micheal the Ark Angel( As the WT teaches)
Your a follower of an Angel & as you know,there are bad angels ( that roam the earth) & there are
good angels on high....The bad angels are leading people to do Satans will,the good are directing
folks to the Holy Spirit. Whom I believe is the GREAT TEACHER!!!! So which one are you being directed by?
