What Was YOUR Worst Quality As A JW?

For me it had to be that I was trained to be judgmental. I'm naturally a person who doesn't believe everything someone says---just because they say it's true. Still, a "good elder" is supposed to be watchful of what might "contaminate" the congregation.

So, it's time to bare your soul. What was your worst JW trait or quality?

I was intelligent and thought for myself.

I was always in trouble for independent research, or comments based on independent research at the BS.

I was too liberal and open minded.

I didn't get offended by things that 'should have' offended me. Even though I believed in the core values of the JW faith, I didn't see the world as a horrible place. I finished college and progressed with my carerr. I didn't see 'worldly people' as bad. I drank, had worldly friends, and overall still had fun.

Too liberal, too questioning, but I was also pretty arrogant, thinking I knew everything about the bible, which is a joke to me now.

I was constantly being told that I didn't "hate what is bad" enough.

I take that as a compliment now.

Actually believing that Jehovah was directing the elders would make my worst quality GULLIBILITY
