reniaa anal and oral sex within marriage is still classed as perverted and if any JW openly denies that it is so risks losing their privileges and also risks being disfellowshipped. The fact that you are insisting that there has been a shift is imo a critique of the WTS' current stance.

mickey mouse they were mentioned between unmarried couples only.

quietly leaving no recent proof has been shown accept a footnote to an article that wasn't the indictment of oral sex I was expecting (thankyou for the quote btw). and passwords saying it is a reteaching I've yet to see confirmation of.

No one has provided a recent article mentioning oral sex between married couples at all only unmarried ones. or anyone being reproved for accept one example clearly from 20+ years ago. I do know from personal experience of a couple told what is between them is between them although I think anal sex is still classed as an homosexual act condemned biblically.

Reniaa, you're being obtuse. If the WTS refers to an article from 1983 - for the attention of married couples - in a 2007 article, that's them reteaching the 1983. If you beg to differ, that's your right.

How would you define a reteaching other than printing a brand new article?

I see it now. You're looking for a RE-teaching of it.

How about a re-emphasising of it? Hence the 2007 footnote FAO married couples.

Hi all, the sad part of all of this is that these guidelines [sexual conduct within a marriage] were written by Fred Franz. A single man who probably hated women, [a bag of bones and a hank of hair is what he is credited as saying if I remember correctly].

He had huge hang ups on masturbation and homosexuality, which if i remember the MO of most of the brothers, usually means something when the go on about it all the time!!! We used to have a guy going on all the time about short dresses and low cut tops...what was his problem? Get my drift?

So the only sex fred probably had was mrs palmer and her five daughters.....!!! What would he know?

let me quote from an article that does mention it in regards to unmarried couples....

Sexual relations are a gift from God, a gift that is to be enjoyed at the appropriate time—when one is married. How does God feel when we try to enjoy sex outside of marriage? Well, imagine that you have purchased a gift for a friend. Before you can give it to that friend, he or she steals it! Wouldn’t you be upset? Imagine, then, how God feels when a person engages in premarital sex, abusing the gift that God has provided.

the whole article emphasises that what they do is allowed once they get married.

Maybe you should write to the WBTS about this Reniaa, I'm sure they'll be happy to put you straight on where they stand with regard to oral sex between married couples.

Just to add to the debate, if there are no further articles to be found on the subject other than the one from the 80's, then that is the current view. When I was on a JC just before I packed it in, we had a single sister who admitted to going down on her non witness boy friend. Yes, it was [by jw standards] fornication, but the chairman of the JC also reminded her that even for married couples oral sex is not fitting sexual behavior. That was baout 4.5 years ago.....

We have many talks about current issues and they are usually in regards to letters, in the 60's some women wrote conplaining about what husbands were asking of them sexually so they tried to clarify things. they do mention oral sex as part of fornication issues now with unmarried couples and if this was still a well taught issue for married couples you wouldn't have ones like the one I just posted that show by default that these are allowed once married in God's eyes.

All i'm getting is hearsay and footnotes nothing that shows this is an active topic of teaching, my own personal experience is it is a lapsed one that wasn't very prominent to begin with. I've said my piece if no one can bring more than footnotes and nothing from recent articles like I showed that by inference say sex acts are condemned by being outside marriage therefore allowable by being inside marriage and that what is between a married couple is between them I'm done.
