The first one in 59 years I have missed (to my knowledge,I may have missed one or two as a littelun)
I do not feel any FEAR ! What the Fluff can my family or any one do?if they reject me and my Wife for not going they don't deserve our familial love.
I just went outside and got on my knees and prayed to the Lord Jesus,and it's the best I have felt on any memorial night!

My family is already not very happy with me, I don't see how going tonight is going to help. They will just want more. If I go, to me, it says "I can't hack it as a witness but I am going to at least do this. It leaves me open for all of their superior judgments.

My other half and I feel exactly the same. We haven't been to a meeting since last summer. Now I got to go dig out a bible and a songbook.
Oh well that was a bit like torture. It was a new African brother at the hall who took it, and it lasted more than an hour. The longest ever I think.
There was brief excitement when I thought someone was partaking. But that was a false alarm.
Anyway thank goodness that's over.

Oh and there was an elderly sister there who had a heart bypass only three weeks ago. So I feel a bit bad for complaining. Still, she looked to be in a better mood than me.
I agree if you are sick going will only make it worse, especially going to a KH. I would be sick myself. I've had several nightmares over the years about being back in a KH attending a meeting. Very scary!!
SBF, glad you got through it. In future, laugh uncontrollably at the nonsense spewing from the platform. Your family will BEG you to stay home.
