Couldn't help but think that your illustration was a reaction to a DJ mixing a Michael Jackson track in nite club

Reniaa: Careful girl you are on the verge of apostacy. Your Governing Body has declared that vision to be symbolic yet you are inferring it to be reality. Also of concern is your use of another Bible translation. The NWT not sufficient for you?

Speaking as a former elder, 'Know your place woman and place yourself in subjection to the Governing Body and Elder arrangement. Don't be running ahead of God's chariot like organization with useless speculations." Don't like the sounds of that? Me neither. Demeaning to women to the point of abuse? Most definitely.... Yet another reason why I left.

no farkel too blunt and speculation. we have no idea how armageddon will happen but it's a bible teaching not a witness one!

Should we be like the majority of christianity and pretend it won't happen? or put our hands over our eyes and go lalalala when we come to those difficult scriptures that are full of warnings of the last days?

Jesus was blunt he had come to save people but he made it clear that hope was it's fruitage, it doesn't just end with armageddon!

No Reniaa....what you should NOT do is prophecy falsely in the name of God. You should not promotes dates/years. You should not put a time constraint such as jumping around the Bible with unrelated verses to come up with some ridiculous formula to take you to 1914 and then claim that that is the generation Jesus was speaking of as the one that would never die. Many Christians stay awake and watchful without uttering a false prophecy or looking to a date.

Reniaa, the Bible is not always to be taken literally. Fire and sulpher are both cleansing agents, and for it to be raining down is a figurative way to express heavenly teachings descending on the heart and mind of the true seeker. Some people will accept these teachings and wisdom, as illustrated by those left still standing, while others will foolishly go about in their delusional state. One aspect of being delusional is a loss of connection with reality, so they are as if they do not exist in the real world, as symbolized by th ones who are taken. Members of the taken class may be walking around in physical form, but there is no spiritual life in them. The vultures symbolize the bird class of birdlike people who diligently hover about looking for opportunities to clean up the harm done by those in the taken class. This is done so that the Earth may be made renewed. [ Revelation 21:1 ]

Thanks for the good laugh. For some reason I like it when the householder says "get the hell out of here".

It's so good that we have people like Raniaa in the forum, because they just confirm that those jokes, though funny, are really a stretch. It's the Bible and JW thinking expressed in words.
