People who write the articles in the WT or the AW are not well educated as you can tell ..............but their righteous and thats what matters to them

Dinosaurs trying to board Noah's Ark

A long time ago, but not as long ago as scientists say, God decided to drown everyone on earth because men and women were wicked in heart and their thoughts were continually evil and primetime TV hadn’t been invented yet to capitalize on all of it.

But Noah found favor with God because other than his drinking problem, Noah was squeaky clean. Also Noah had a large family who were all very fertile and full of love so God knew they could repopulate the whole earth in no time.

So God told Noah that even though he was going to kill all of the humans, he wanted to save the skunks, the houseflies, the sharks, the rattlesnakes, the scorpions, the spiders, etc… so Noah was to build a large Ark and march millions of species onboard from all over the earth so they will be saved from the flood.

Noah asked God, “what about the fish?” God said, “they can swim.” Noah said, “but if the flood is fresh water, all of the salt water fish will die.” “If the flood is salt water, all of the fresh water fish will die.” God said, “Shut up.”

So Noah and his sons built the ark and marched every species on earth aboard in pairs and sevens. Then God flooded the earth and Noah watched the bubbles come up as all the men, women, children, and babies sank beneath the water and drowned. Glub, glub…

Months later the ark landed in some mountains in a place where thousands of years later people keep seeing it, but no one has managed to take a decent picture of it.

    The End…

Because god gets off on hearing people scream, moan, and watch they're children drown. He enjoys sitting back watching people die a horrible death, drinking a beer in his underwear.

Or the bible is just complete bullshit.

    What'll it be? A or B.

Or another manifestation of the bible in other lands? How about Greek Mythology? That would be probably F. Or the alien theory... G. Do I have to go on?

:,why would Almighty God need a flood at all, with its attendant problems of gathering animals and building arks etc.

That is an easy one: God is a showman just likes to show off, that's all. Trouble is, every time he shows off, a lot of people die. But showing off makes God feel good, so why quibble about it.

After all, he makes up all the rules, and if you don't like his rules, he will kill you. If you do like his rules, he'll probably kill you anyway, but at least you'll be impressed with the way he does it!

Now come on people....he had to have an example for the Faithful and Discreet slave to refer to out of the Old Testament. You know..... so that they could eventually say...."To bad so Sad the Ark door is closing" .......

Leaving out all the obvious problems with a Global flood,

Not that there are any "problems" with it, obvious or not, but since you asked, I'll leave it out.

why would Almighty God need a flood at all, with its attendant problems of gathering animals and building arks etc.when He obviously had the power just to destroy the "wicked" and just leave Noah and family alive.

Those "problems served to demonstrate His love, His Power, His ability to do anything to save those who do what is right, those who put Faith in Him.

After all he destroyed JUST the first born in Egypt (what had they done to offend him?)

That was for an entirely different reason, it was Pharoah's decree (Exodus 1:15-16), who proclaimed Himself to be a God, that caused those deaths by his own utterance. God even offered a chance for this not to occur but Pharah hardened his heart (Exodus 4:22-23)

so why not just snuff out who he wants to,why a flood?

Why fire and sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah, same reason- ALL those killed were incorrigably wicked, beyond salvation, despising what is good. Just like those who perished in the Great Flood.

Matthew 24:36-39 (NIV) "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

    BA- That's why.

PS- Version 2.0, with fire, not flood, coming soon.

Sorry BA - this kind of reasoning makes you look foolish. Shame - you seem quite bright otherwise.

He needed the flood to provide a prophetic type that Jesus could refer to 2000 years later. What a load of crock.

It wasn't reasoning. It was rubbish and made up stuff. That is not reasoning by any standard outside of Religion.
