"A Christmas Carol", any of the black and white versions. I've taped the George C. Scott version, it's not bad.

I like Christmas in Connecticut, the old one, with Barbara Stanwyck.

A Christmas Story is also a favorite of ours. Just love that lamp!

Some great movies have been mentioned, and I enjoy all of them. A Christmas Story is practically a biography of my life - there isn't a bad scene in the entire movie. I've purchased it as well as George C. Scott's A Christmas Carol to go along with my favorite version of Little Women.

It's not officially Christmas for me until I watch The Bishop's Wife - the original with Cary Grant, Loretta Young, David Niven and Gladys Cooper.

I love them all - but I really could watch Home Alone every single year and still have it make me laugh. It's timeless and fun! sammieswife.

I have three and they've already been mentioned:

    It's a Wonderful Life

A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott

Miracle on 34th Street, with Natalie Wood

I shed tears with each of these, but don't tell anyone.
