Jesus Is Jehovah/Jehovah Is Jesus

    Of course, my question is sincere. I asked the question because I sincerely wish to know who Jesus is. I know he is the Son. I know he was much more than a perfect man as taught by the WTS. He was worshipped and as stated in Phil 2:5-8

    "5 and think the same way that Christ Jesus thought: 6 Christ was truly God.

    But he did not try to remain equal with God. 7 Instead he gave up everything and became a slave,

    when he became like one of us. 8 Christ was humble. He obeyed God and even died on a cross." CEV

    1 Tim 3:16 states

    " 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." KJV

    Verses such as these and the ones Leolalia entioned in her posts makes one wonder. Jesus was MUCH more than a perfect man.

    Possible-San, I don't agree with the Trinity doctrine, but I can't deny the evidence that YHWH of the Old Testament is the same as Jesus of Nazareth.

    Another connection that may not have been mentioned is Isaiah 63 and Revelation 19.

    Please step back and take a really good look at what has been presented here.

    Please.

    Isaiah 63

    Who is this coming from Edom,
    from Bozrah, with his garments stained crimson?
    Who is this, robed in splendor,
    striding forward in the greatness of his strength?
    "It is I, speaking in righteousness,
    mighty to save."

    2 Why are your garments red,
    like those of one treading the winepress?

    3 "I have trodden the winepress alone;
    from the nations no one was with me.
    I trampled them in my anger
    and trod them down in my wrath;
    their blood spattered my garments,
    and I stained all my clothing.

    4 For the day of vengeance was in my heart,
    and the year of my redemption has come.

    5 I looked, but there was no one to help,
    I was appalled that no one gave support;
    so my own arm worked salvation for me,
    and my own wrath sustained me.

    6 I trampled the nations in my anger;
    in my wrath I made them drunk
    and poured their blood on the ground."

    Revelation 19:11

    11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." [ a ] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:

    KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

    The question put to you is this ... who is the person mentioned in Revelation 19?

    You did not return a reply to my post as well as Mr. sacolton, either.

    I cannot understand well that you want what to say.
    Please explain that I understand more exactly.

    I will explain.

    YHWH or Jehovah is NOT the Father.

    YHWH or Jehovah is the God of Israel who later became the Son.

    Hi, CHILD.

    For me, Jesus is the symbol itself.
    Therefore, while you stick to "historical Jesus", you cannot understand my explanation.

    Also for the Apostle Paul, Jesus was symbolic.
    Therefore, he has seldom mentioned "historical Jesus."

    For example, the Apostle Paul said like this.

    "which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."
    Col 1:27. (NKJV)

    "Christ in your hearts is your only hope of glory."
    Col 1:26. (TLB)

    That is, it is "God presence within you".
    This word is the address of my website.
    http://godpresencewithin.web.fc2.com/

    I have said that Jesus is "I AM" in this meaning.

    But I do not have the intention of forcing my view.
    I would like to only show now that it is not "Jehovah is Jesus," also in teaching of the Trinity.

    snowbird.

    There are people who believe like you mostly.
    But that view is not related to teaching of the Trinity.

    And the society (Jehovah's Witnesses) is fighting with people who think like you.
    Probably, Jehovah's Witnesses will defeat you.

    They're fighting against the very Truth they claim to possess.

    I like your discussion forum layout.

    Zeus is Cronos/Cronos is Zeus. I've often wondered if Zeus is the correct verbiage. I'm not convinced it is, but I like to think he likes being mentioned in any form.
