I didn't hear the call, I had to work. So I don't know about her story.

But, I wonder at your statement of bringing a "confirmed" witch to the call.??????

I don't know about what she believes. But there are alot of us here that are pagan and/or wiccan.

Where are you headed with this statement??

And how do the mods here feel about you posting her story from another site?? Why don't you ask her??

I'm a mod at jws, and I don't agree with what you just did. That's my 2 cents.....

Hmm, can evil spirits travel through phonelines and attack you?

All ex JW's didn't embrace Christianity.

Where I'm headed with the statement?

Let's see if I can make an illustration.

In JWD you expect everyone is going to be
whatever they want and that's ok with me.

In Rick's Conference Call he's presenting an
image that he's exposing the blemishes of the WT
    and I'm ok with that.

But it's not ok by me to judge the WT of SRA and
then have someone who is avowing to delve in
occult practices to this day be a featured guest
    in the program.

I hope that explains my position. I have nothing but
sympathy for Ravyn and hope that she one day will find
    the happiness she's been pursuing.

But a Christian doesn't delve into the occult. I believe
most folks identifying themselves as such wouldn't want
to be associated in any way or fashion with occult practices,
whether wiccan, pagan, stregan, luciferian or whatever
they're definitely not for Christians as I understand.

I hope that clarifies it and also adds to why I feel Rick
needs to apologize publicly in his next Conference.

    Sincerly,

then, with all due respect......I wish you would read up. I'm wiccan, but I in NO way involved myself with the occult.

I guess that statement just hit me the wrong way, plus the fact I've been up for 18 hours, and dealing with blach friday crap.

    With equal respect, Deb.

My posit is that any of such things
    wiccanism, paganism, streganism, luciferianism
or whatever 'occultism' it isn't for Christians.
    It's a totally different religion.

Be what you wish to be. I certainly
wish you some deserved rest after such
    a long workday.

Do I wish that everyone become a Christian?
    I woulnd't be a Christian if I thought otherwise;
however, I live and let live, can't be a Christian
and force anyone to do anything either.

But I do object to a presumably Christian program
    featuring an openly 'occultist' guest.

    w/Best regards.

Iloowy, you have a PM on JWS regarding copy/pasting the words of another from JWS. RD, JWS Co-Admin.

Then don't listen to the program. Hang up the phone. Why does Kool Aid owe you an apology? Why do you presume his program was a "Christian" program? Did he say that it was? Even if he did say that it was, who made up the rule that a Christian program cannot talk to non-Christians from other religions? You? Did he agree to abide that rule? Unless he specifically stated that his program was a Christian program and promised he would never expose Christian listeners to any non-Christian viewpoints or guests, he doesn't owe you squat! You presume too much.

    You presume too much.

Indeed, I perhaps presume too much when I'm very emotionally involved in some situation.

I shouldn't let emotions get the better of me.

I've been warned at JWS for quoting Ravyn's message here.

I will comply and accept the discipline. I'm editing the message to delete her words.

But I'll leave the link and anyone can check to see what I mention is true.

I'll leave it at that except to say I still feel (this sounds so much like Popeye)
that Rick needs to apologize for putting her on the show.

    Sincerely.

Could a Mod at JWD edit my first post on the thread and delete Ravyn's quoted post from my message?

I've tried several times to edit it with IE, FireFox, and Chrome and all I get is :

    Error
Sorry, an error has occured which has been logged for the attention of the system administrator.
Please use the back button on your browser to return to the previous page.

Don't want to be sanctioned at JWS.
