Yes it was choke full of Witnesses even the Brother giving the Public talk on Sunday, so for a MA 15+ rating with lots of violent killings why were they there? And SOOOOO friendly to us with the "love bombing" ......my wife sort of falls for it but I just want to chew my own foot off and run......I was the 007 legendary "love bomber" no one escaped my puppy dog eyes!

Ha! So the JWs still frequent the movies, eh? ;-)
In my JW day it was Rocky -- and the elder with us was jumping up and down in the theater going nutzo over Rocky beating the guy up.
Later it was ET... the grossest movie I ever saw. I never went with them after that. -

This same Brother will get up on Sunday and explain how much "Jehovah hates violence" and those who are entertained by it....then after the Meeting gossip about how cool Bond was with his Machine gun........H.I.P.O.C.R.I.T.E.

No judging, thats the Watchtower societies Job....and the C.O's etc.....it's funny how you make it sound like Witnesses have a "personal choice" when the publications condemn watching such films comparing it to the Galdiator fights of the first century....with your reasoning I should be able to watch Porno!

I personally don't like watching violent gore filled fodder the entertainment industry increasingly serves up as what people want but the rating system is there for people to make informed choices, on these personal choice issues people are warned and what they then do is their own choice but I don't go looking over other peoples shoulders looking what they choose, I'm to busy in my own life.

Years ago the Catholic Church had a list called "This Movie Is Condemned" and those were the movies we would go and see to find out why they were condemned.
The Watchtower has a similar list of movies that the friends should not go and see also. PG-13 is the old R rated movies.
According to the Watchtower standards, James Bond is a no no. Maybe if he was 777 instead of 007 it would be ok. 777 is the opposite of 666

ok proof please of lists of movies put in watchtowers for us told specifically not to watch like the catholics do! we warned but I think specific mention of particular movies is not done. Its personal choice.
