I don't know that I am a better person, but I feel better about myself and that's what counts...

More open minded and happier, but I'm the same person otherwise.

Oh yeah! I'm a much better person:

More mature (After leaving, I quickly over 2 years learned from others how to take responsibility and act my age).

Not judgemental (unless the person tries to shove their religion down my throat, then I will judge them).

    Accepting of others' beliefs

    Learned to love others unconditionally

Happy now after giving up trying to find "True Happiness" in the org.

Free from depression 100% (While in that org, I couldn't stop being sad and a little angry.)

Free to live as I choose

Free to love and be friends with others regardless of their religious affiliation and gender (JW's can't be friends with opposite sex without starting a lot of gossip).

    Free to give to charities

    I'm much better

That returning to vomit scripture is what keeps me from going back. :)

I'm less judgmental, more compassionate and open-minded and tolerant. My faith in God is strong and resilient.

Yes, I AM a better person!

    Thanks, Minimus.

    as others have said....

i am the same person, but unshackled 5.2 version...
no longer struggling with cognizant "disconnect"
from the aspects of my perceptions that never fit
and were therefore supressed in the collective....

my $$ goes to support causes i believe in and
hope to assist in fulfilling their missions...

i am DEFINITELY less judgmental and
not only willing but able to see the people
who pass thru my life as the living loving creatures
they truly are... not heathens destined for destruction

i am in a degree program that has absolutely captivated me...
every day i am excited by something new...

so, a better person? i can hope....
    a better life? exponentially so!!
