  Just sharing what I ""gleaned"" from 1st CO visit of the service year so far........

  I pumped the an older Elder who escorted him on FS about whether he will he is staying for next service year...... YES!

  Kissed up to older Pioneer who hosted his wife in yesterday's FS, she too says no rotation !

  Pioneer hours change month is still being kept mum but continuing to be confirmed as 35/50. Dozy might be onto something about it not happening in Dec but rather March.

  I asked Bro. Up-in-coming if he was thinking about reaching out for up in coming circuit work, he made a face and said he wasn't a COTBOE, yet. So I guess the first wave of overseers will be COTBOEs.

  Who said what to give you that idea?

  I'm starting to think the pioneer hour change is crap. We've never seen any proof of anything. I think if any elder thinks that there will be a change to pioneer hours, it was probably somebody who told him that who read it from an apostate site.

  Well I did some baiting on the pioneer hours question.

  I had pie and coffee with the CO, his wife and several pioneers. I mentioned both Dec and Dozy's comments about being pushed back to March, he just grinned at us all and said "food at the proper time"......

  So if this turns out to be just a rumor, it has thoroughly infected the WTS like fast spreading virus!

  They are sooooooo into their authority structure, there is a pecking order of who's-in-the-know. Those at the top of the food chain are smug to the underlings, keeping them interested by reinforcing their own favored status and pretending the tidbit is fascinating.

  I suppose when a jw's life is so empty and sad, they must superimpose value onto meaningless things, such as who gets to know some insignificant fact first. Too bad they don't have real lives.

  bumping....... I was just self musing about the demise of the CO arrangement as we know it allegedly as soon as Aug 31, 2009.

  I wonder if my COTBOE is on some covert WTS mission too..... his leaving for 4 months is shrouded in mystery (but got confirmation that he will return as COTBOE).

  Cinn....Have you heard anymore news?

  Any musings about expanding say the auto DAing offenses?

  Hey yknot, I heard something last week that I thought may interest you.

  In this thread last July a poster called Ernie said the following:

  Although not officially in the public domain , my understanding is that COs will not be given a new assignment after their existing one ends on Aug 31st 2009. Each CO has been sworn to confidentiality on this matter. WTS still working on the details & many COs annoyed at lack of information. Still some question about whether all will be reassigned as special pioneers - looks like each CO will be treated on a case by case basis. Those who have a home are being "encouraged" to return there. Some COs are already sorting their futures out & have come off or will be by end of service year.
  
  Transitionally , the foreign language circuits are already in the process of being disbanded and will be serviced by existing COs from 1.9.08. No new substitute COs are being recruited.

  I heard from an impeccable source recently that this process is well underway here. I have heard of a number of COs coming off the circuit work recently and they have been replaced by foreign language COs. The foreign language circuits have for the most part been disbanded.

  Why don't residents of Bethel clean their own toilets in their own bathrooms? I don't get it.

  Seems like an effective method to erode interpersonal boundaries. I wonder if folks in other communes clean their own bathrooms.
