    Truthseeker,

You can call your book "31 Years a Watchtower Slave" but
Schnell beat you to it with "30 Years a Watchtower Slave"

    It was a big hit.

    Thanks

I was 33 years a Watchtower Slave. Too bad we waste the best years of our life before we get our eyes open.

Truthseeker, I'm looking forward to your writings on this. I've been writing my memoir about my life as a JW and why I left, and it's been a very important thing for me to do in order to process it all and let go. I'm still working on it--letting go that is--and am also still writing and editing my work. Again, looking forward to what you write and how you do it. - dp

Whether individuals formally leave or not, most JW's do have a 'shelf life'! 30 years seems to be the magic number, take or give a few.

good observation. I was a slave from birth until my mid 30s. Took me 10 years after that to break the chains, but I mentally checked out long ago.
