Interesting QFR posted by Blondie, where the WTS asserts that, "In reply Jesus referred to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, men who hoped for life again on earth." But what kind of life? If we take this assertion as true, the most likely Jewish belief that applies is that these luminaries would be reincarnated, having no knowledge of their past lives - not the cloning "resurrection" of WTS teaching.

OMG, this whole thread just makes me see even clearer how manipulative and twisted by ex jw husband was. He made me promise not to remarry if he died before I did, so he wouldn't have to see me with another husband while he would be forced to remain single in the new system. He became very upset when I told him I thought that was stupid.
