I kinda wanted to add to what st8 just said. so you've had bad relations (not sexual) with homosexuals before. so? i've had white cops threaten to beat me so that my mom wouldnt recognize me. doesn't mean i should have an axe to grind with all cops or that i should hate white people. hell, its been more than one cop that has treated me unfairly. take it on a case by case, person by person basis. or you can do like i do and hate every one equally unless they give you a reason not to hate them.

Rob and Freudian----This whole sexuality issue is so very much entangled with my JW experience that it is almost impossible to separate the 2.

My marriage is in ruins, and while the gay issue wasn't the only thing that led to the end of my marriage, it still factored in, but to what extent, I don't really know. There were many problems with my marriage---money issues, personality conflicts, etc etc etc.

And there's the rub, JG: the issue is not really with a supposed gay lifestyle, or even gay sex - it is within your relationships (to your wife, to your own sexuality, to your issues with certain kinds of intimacy).

If there's more to it than that, I'd be interested in hearing about it (as you know). I think it would help if you would be willing to express yourself more fully, and explain the specifics of how this same gender attraction/JW/distrust of gay men thing fits together. It seems you acknowledge you're holding something back, quite often.

I don't know how to make it any safer. I've repeatedly remarked that only you can determine if you're gay, it's been well acknowledged that straight men will sometimes engage in same gender sex, and it's well known that some men are bisexual.

How have you been hurt? I actually care about you. Frustrated at times, but caring.

JG when I first encountered you at JWF I thought you were one of the nicest kindest most accepting people on that board at the time. I no longer think that about you. I find you one of the most judgmental persons I've ever encountered. You can't seem to let other people live there own lives without throwing your 2 cents in. The gay comunity on this board doesn't need to hear everytime a gay thread comes up how much you hate gays and hate gay sex and are hurt gay men didn't like you. You poor baby. Gay people are not responciabe for your self loathing or self esteem issues. You claim to be a christan yet you can't seem to take the rafter out of your own eye before pointing out the splinter in others eyes. You don't love your neighbor as yourself. What a fine example of a chriatian you are.
