My mom got upset we had my sister up for Thanksgiving and didn't ask her to come too. I asked if she would have come, and she said no. What can you do? Damned either way.

Yeah she does call on mine and the kids' birthday. She even left a voicemail last month wishing my oldest son a happy birthday. My son knows my mother's supposed view about birthdays and thinks it's weird that she does the opposite of what she says she believes.
