On Saturday... I decided to dump all my literature

Sometimes I wish that I had kept everything I guess, just so that I could reference things when I'm reading or writing, but for the most part I find that everything is available online in one way or another and it's for the best that I don't cart that stuff around anymore.... time to let go.

Keeping the bible though was important to me. I kept one that used to belong to my father that he had given to me. It has all of his markup in it, highlighting and little notes and such. More than anything I feel that I'm holding a part of him when I have that book in my hands... silly and sentimental I know, but oh well. I also have several other Bible versions so that when I'm doing research I can cross reference.

Unloading all that literature is definitely freeing, it's like tearing off the chains!

I'm glad you kept the Bible... I know first hand, how precious those kinds of memories can be.
