So what's going on? Do all JW parents exclude their ex JW children from their will? Aren't they socially constrained in this? What will the rest of society say if they basically disinherit their children for having chosen not to follow their religion? That surely reflects badly on them.
I can see it's another way for the WTS to punish and to instill fear in those still in the cult. It's a very ruthless organisation.

I dunno, bro. It's something that folks are really surprised/disgusted about when they actually know one of us, but in general, as usual, most folk think the JWs are nice, innocent folk who misguidedly ring their doorbells on Saturday mornings.
Most folk see the financial abuse as little as they see the child molestation/cover ups. It's a hard message to get out.
