My dad was born with this ability to make everything taste wonderful even though he rarely cooks. I'm not worried.

Now .. my mom might have told Dad she didn't want to be a JW.. but I found out last night that she got up the next morning and went to the meeting .. WTF?

Yes, you still need to protect your heart from the possibility of another change-up, but it sounds to me like your mother needs your support. It's wonderful that you can be there for her. You know how hard this all has been for you. It is also hard on her.

am being careful -- I think it will take me a long time before I would get too excited because I'm afraid she'll flip flop again.

Help her out. Prepare for the rollercoaster she's going to ride dragging you along.
Remember, she is trying to break free, but has so many pressures on her.

My mom is still suffering from jwism I'm pretty sure she will continue from now till the end that way. But she doesn't have a husband keeping her down she willingly victimizes herself.

Sounds exciting.

Remeber leaving is a process. Many people flip flop all the time. Everytime she does the flip flop the rose colored glasses start slipping further and further until she can let them drop. Have a great holiday with you family.

She must be eaten up with guilt right now. She is surely going through some tough turmoil inside.

Just tell her you love her and maybe give her some space. I don't think I'd jump all over the CofC wagon or other "apostate literature" just yet. This is a long process to take.
