Have never celebrated it of course not as an JW but neither not as one, too many small and innocent children get frighten during the event all on the premise of it's
fun. It does support or embellish the thought of spiritualism in the young ones minds which I don't like and all the junk food/candies gives the kids a stomachache afterwards.
Seems we can do allot better for are kids as responsible parents.
Shouldn't something that was celebrated for a couple hundred years ago be looked at with a bit of skepticism anyways, I think so.

Hubby and I don't "do" much at all for Halloween....and we have had only one child we never saw before or again, come to the door for candy....since we moved here in 1981, Haha! But I did buy a set of window clings for the front door, and I will be buying gourds/small pumpkins, etc for the front porch.

I have my own small shop and I've had Holloween decor out for a month now. It's selling very well - it's all vintage style Holloween. I also dress up every year. I made a very over the top Flower Fairy outfit - I call it the Fat Fifty Flower Fairy.

I Love Halloween. My favorite dogs used to dress up just for the occasion.
