I have read very little of it so far. But I am planning on doing so in the next few days. I contacted Dr Phil with the info about the release and suggested he contact Barbara. Wouldn't it be wonderful if he did a show on this?

I would suggest going straight to the court documents. It was all very summed up in the advertisement.
I can't imagine having to scan or get all these documents together.
I started with the first "Amy versus WTBS etal. Take deep breaths and be prepared to feel furious. I am expecting much discussion here on the board after everyone gets into the "meat" of all of this.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks for your input Restrangled. I just finished going over the summation. I find it hard to be furious though because we all know what lying scum the WT is. This is just more proof. Now on to the court docs but I hesitate out of respect for the victims.

I agree! There are records from doctors that I really didn't need to read. I posted about this a few days ago.....getting records removed or redacted if you have ever been to court.
Sadly, this girl's medical history is now available for general consumption. I wonder how she feels.
This was the first listed case, and I felt terrible reading her medical history and actually skipped over it after so many pages.
It did not add or detract from the case in my opinion.

That's exactly what I told my friend when I told him I was reading it, I want to throw up. I told him, if for a second you get a warm and fuzzy feeling for this corporation, don't forget in a second they will kick you to the curb to protect their money. It doesn't matter if it is illegal or criminal, the victim does not matter...only their money.

Yes they protect their money and spend it protecting their mistakes.
Instead of coming forward and apologizing like true Christians, they hide behind attorneys, fighting with bogus arguments and then announce in the September question from the readers and the latest Watchtower study, not to look at anything outside of the organization, ...after they lose suits, and are no longer able to hide.
So the rank and file once again are kept blind of their foolishness, and in reality are asked to donate to support it.
Until this gets to the main stream media nothing will change.
The old timers are betting against their own deaths, struggling to maintain service hours and meeting attendance, updating their wills hoping the money will buy them into the new order since Armageddon has not transpired in their life time as was guaranteed by this religion.
As I said before, once this old money is gone....there will be nothing left to maintain the purchase of real estate and payment to victims.
I guarantee in 15 years they will be bankrupt or very close to it.

Finally got mine this afternoon when I got home from work. Just finished the summary portion. Wow. This is horrific and if there were such a thing as hell there would be a dark corner reserved from those involved in any way in covering up this madness. This reeks to high heaven.
