I AM NOT SURE I THEY DID,BUT WHEN YOU GO TO SOME OF THE SOURCES OF THESE IDEAS,YOU DO WONDER WHY PEOPLE BELIEVED/CAME UP THIS SH*T AND IF WT HAS CHECKED HEIR SOURCES.

The Bible says a "mist would go up from the earth and it watered the entire surface of the ground."

Plus the dinosaurs fertilized it, since they did not eat meat before the flood. And since they were only created less than 49,000 years ago, they did lots of it very quickly.

The flood is a bible thing not a watchtower only thing. The earth would have been under different pressure from the canopy and the suns rays would have been blocked so everything would have lived longer and bigger. Theres info out there arguing for the flood. Everyone sees what they want to see.

Yes. People back then would have been under the influence of nitrogen narcosis. That's probably why Noah got drunk off his ass after the flood, he wanted the buzzed felling back.

The morning dew was all that was needed to water the vegetation.

With a constant cloud covering maintaining a stabilized temperature, would any morning dew actually form?

God did it is the answer to everything, silly.

It's completely bizzare. They are REALLY relying on the dubs not using the internet, or opening a science book.

They claim that this same canopy is messing up all of the radiometric dating records... there is no reason to believe that, radiometric dating has been proven time and time again. But any amount of water thick enough to offset the half life of carbon atoms would have to be a LOT of water. A quick check at the wiki indicates that this very bad idea states that the water was around 30 to 40 feet thick.

It would be blocking a heck of a lot of sunlight. So photosynthesis wouldn't work. Do you know how much light makes it 30 feet underwater? (Me either... Do we have any divers here?) PLUS the pressure would be intense, it would be about double.

Temperature is a huge issue... most people who believe this assume that the water was in orbit, not in the atmosphere. This is to take care of the pressure issue, but mainly for reasons I'll explain later. But the society is extremely vauge on this doctrine, for good reason. The lack of direct sunlight would drastically cool down the planet. It would be like living.... 30 feet underwater! This is if the water was in orbit... if it WASN'T in orbit, then the opposite problem exists... then something had to be keeping it in a vapor form... that means the water had to be at least 220 degrees at the bottom. Obviously that would heat up the planet drastically. (No the cooling effect from the lack of sunlight wouldn't help enough.) Something had to be proving enough heat to keep the vapor at least 220 degrees. And yet not kill everything on the planet.

That's insane... so from now on I'll assume that the canopy was in orbit.

Ozone protects the surface of the planet from ultraviolet light... if the canopy was ABOVE the ozone layer, it would be getting his with 100% of the ultraviolet light... UV light breaks apart H2O into hydrogen and oxygen, so the canopy would have been broken up into gasses by the time the flood ever happened.

IF they are right about the water canopy. (And that's a huge unverified IF. They offer NO scientific reason to even proceed beyond this point... Where's the geological, historical, scientific or archeological evidence?) Why would God have originally created such a useless and problematic canopy? It does nothing but cause deadly problems. Brilliant god! Does he intend to put it back after armageddon? (I hope not, that would BE armageddon... plus that elliminates space travel.)

There are a LOT more problems with it, see this site for example: http://www.creationscience.com/onlinebook/FAQ33.html

The only way you can make it work, is if god was actively rebuilding and holding up the canopy untill the flood... maybe humans weren't so wicked, god was just sick of holding up a useless chunk of ice. (or vapor.)

There's little point in coming up with a scientific hypothesis that requires god to activily perform miracles throughout the proccess for it to work:

WHAT MORE,HE SAID IN HIS BOOK THAT THE CARBON ON EARTH CAME FROM THE CANOPY RINGS.
