I have the same thought lurking at the back of my mind. Am I cheating? What would happen if she found out I've been on this site and posting for some time? Bad things would happen I suppose.

This site helps me keep my sanity. It reminds me why I left the dubs and how free I am.

I will probably never tell my wife that I've posted as The Listener. One day I'll "discover" this site and start a new screen name that she knows about and will do everything in the open. Until then this is for my sanity.

    OM,

Love ya like a brother, but see, I don't feel 'that way' about you, man.

Don't want to 'get with ya' or anything.

    See, it's a little absurd.

    PEC,

I agree with xena, it's an interst of yours she cannot be. You should let her know how much it means to you to have someone who was never in the borg to help keep you sane ore somesuch.

Not that I want to come between you guys. being technically part of your 'mistress' and all.

I don't feel 'that way' about you either.

    um, EWWW,

Roller (of the 'now I feel dirty' sheep class)

Although I never had a believing partner when I found JWD I can see why you would ask this question.

Personally I see JWD as Group Support and once a day/week/or even hour LOL you meet with men and women who have or are experiencing the same spiritual turmoil; I would ask how that could ever be cheating?

Is associating with others cheating? If it is then she does it at every meeting at the Kingdom Hall!

I don't think it's "cheating." But I do sympathize with your feelings, as I am in the same boat. Sometimes I want to just explode with all the stuff I have learned here and in other places, but there would be hell to pay. Slow and steady wins the race.

Well, I figure that the cult has basically 'cheated' you the entire time you are in it so you owe it nothing. It's not about loyalty to your wife because you come here for advice to help her and your family.

Don't take the blame, your doing what's best to get your family out of a cult. Theocratic war!
