"Pointed information"?
I think when you slow down to explain, even in paranthesis, what a Circuit Overseer is or a pioneer does, or
what the New System is, this allows the rank and file to think about it.Just saying it in an article without explanation allows them to mindlessly read and fit into the thoughts-control
rather nicely. The Pure Language of a study article that doesn't need to explain terms keeps the average
JW mind in line. They don't think, they just "know" what it means.I am sure JWD posters who are active members will make these publications available. I just hope we keep
getting new members to replace those leaving and fading. I am certain there will be a speeding up in these
last days of the Watchtower. -

I noticed how the witness edition is for the "Christian brotherhood". Yet another way to draw a distinct line between "us and them".
Also, the public edition will give the Society a better forum to glorify the UN or any other taboo entity they may be in bed with. I doubt many witnesses will bother to read this edition in depth if at all. After all, they snuck all those pro-UN articles past us in the 90's, imagine what they can get away with now???

this seniro reminds me of how many long years ago, their was rumors coming out of Bethel that the so-called "New Scrolls", were being printed.
Does anyone else recall that stupid idiotic lie? I assume those new scrolls are only for JW's and not for the general public.
How stupid can the society get???????????

You know, it amazes me how the WT harped on about the young ones living double lives, and now the WTS seems to be paving a way for itself to live a double life. The WTS is stumbling the young ones.

To Para: I was going to ask the same thing. According to the WT's writings for decades "Jehovah is the editor of the WT" and he comes up with his ideas first and then tells the GB to implement them. So why ask his blessings? Is God not sure that he wants this done? Isn't Jehovah behind this whole thing? Why would he start this huge project and not be sure if he approves of it or not? What the hell are these people thinking? (Oh, never mind. I forgot. They don't think.)

In the Study Edition, it will no longer be necessary to explain terms like "pioneer" in ways that non-Witnesses can grasp.
Yes, they already know that 'a pioneer is a fool who spends 75 hours per month peddling the Watchtower' as opposed to the regular fool who spends 10 (or less).
