No it's decades worth of persecuting muslims coming back to roost. I don't see israel lasting another decade. The only country backing them is the US and we have enough on our plate to worry about. That and any assistance we give them we have to then give to egypt unless we want to break the treaty that saved israel last time.

I think that is one thing you don't have to worry about, those prophecies are old and out dated, thier are no "modern day fulfillments" like the JW's and othe fundimentalist teach.
Isreal has disposessed many Palestinians from thier homes, bombed Lebanon, killing many civilains the government of Isreal is just as much a terrorist on those people as they are or should I say much worse, only we may not view them as terrorist because they use planes, artilary, and have an army, instead of suicide bombers.

I have to ask this question. What is Isreal doing that is leading to a possible war?
Many fundies feel Isreal is still God's chosen people, because of Bible and somehow feel armagedon happens when Isreal is attacked by many nations which leads to armagedon, such beliefs are rediculous.

If this happened in your country, would you better understand what these people are facing, I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot some might even become suicide bombers, for uncle sam.

So, Isreal are the good guys and the Arabs the bad guys in your understanding. What do you have to say in support of the bombing of Lebanon? I personally hope that the UN becomes a stronger force in the world, we need it to be. To be sure each side has its POV which tend to be biased. As with any conflict this saying is probably applicable "there is her side and there is his side and then there is the truth" My own opinion though is that Isreal side is the farthest from the truth.
